Mom's Movie Reviews

Looking for decent movies to watch with your children? This great site has movie reviews for over 900 movies, old and new. Although I might not agree with the letter grade she gives each movie, the reviews are very detailed and have a mini report on topics such as sexual content, violence, scariness, swearing, alcohol & drugs, as well as diversity issues such as anti-gay content.

Overall I found this site very helpful, and you can send in feedback too.

Thanks so much for the recommendation, Lisa! And what a cool blog. As you note, the grade I give the movie (which reflects its overall merits) is not as important as the discussion of the elements that may be of concern for parents, so they can make a decision based on their own values about what is right for each child. There's also www.screenit.com. I got here all the time since there is sometiems a big difference between movies with the same rating.
