another crazy day...
5:30 am - dog wakes me up, put her outside, put her into her crate...go back to bed
7:30 am - alarm rings...ignore it
8:00 am - alarm rings again...this time I get out of bed...feed dog... put her outside
8:30 am - shower, get dressed, put dog back into crate
8:45 am - leave house
9:02 am - arrive at Courthouse to file documents
9:11 am - court clerk accepts 2 out of 3 documents, sends one back for "fixing"
9:25 am - go up to 4th floor of courthouse to find "linda" to give paperwork... linda's cubicle has disappeared... find out that the section has moved... track her down... drop off paper
10:08 am - arrive at Owen's school to pick him up
10:25 am - drop Owen off at Darby's house
10:55 am - arrive at University of Ottawa... find parking... find contact person at student support services office
11:30 am - speak at workshop on how to find a non-traditional articling position
12:45 pm - leave campus, head downtown
1:05 pm - arrive at Trampoline lesson location, where Darby has brought Owen and her two kids, also my nephew Bailey has been dropped off to participate
2:20 pm - get everyone into car...drop off Bailey...then take Darby and kids back to her place
3:05 pm - arrive at St. Mary's teen mom centre
3:15 pm - meet with teen mom about her family law issues... give legal information
4:23 pm - head back to the west end...realize didn't have breakfast or lunch
4:51 pm - arrive at office...check in with admin staff re: client meeting
6:35 pm - client arrives for consultation re: family law issues
8:40 pm - client leaves... close up office...
9:05 pm - arrive home
10:00 pm - other crap happens...
11:00 pm - sit down to relax...

Good grief, I am exhausted after reading about such a day. But, oh so typical of working moms. We never ever should have invented multi-tasking without also inventing oral kryptonite.
